Thanks for stopping by to view my photography. I enjoy capturing our natural world in landscapes and wildlife pictures. I began taking photographs in 9th grade with an introductory black & white photography and darkroom class. I fell in love with the whole photography process from composing a shot to developing and printing the picture. With the recent advances in digital photographic technology I once again find myself being able to enjoy the whole process of photography. Now working in a digital darkroom (a personal computer and photography software programs) and using a photographic inkjet printer allows me to create a fine art picture from the initial composition to the final print. Some of my favorite places to take pictures are at our beautiful National and State Parks, Wildlife Refuges and Audubon Centers. My hope is that when someone sees one of my pictures it will bring back memories of a place they once enjoyed or maybe a place they may want to visit themselves.
